OPEN POSITIONS

Night Auditor (Full-Time | $16-$18/hr):

The Night Auditor ensure the maintenance of financial controls, and compliance with hotel standards, as well as works directly with the public. Main duties include running the night audit reports, emailing the reports to leadership, greeting, interacting, and assisting guests, processing reservations, answering all telephone calls received, using computers and computer systems to set up functions, and handling all special requests for services or information in accordance with standard policies and procedures.

Essential Job Duties

• Prepare daily Revenue Report data by running the necessary reports through the
OPERA system.
• Communicate the report data to hotel leadership via email.
• Check guests in and out of the hotel.
• Maintain a clean and neat lobby area.
• Stock and clean gift shop.
• Report inventory needs to manager.
• Maintain cleanliness of back office area.
• Complete daily EOS messages to team in a thorough manner, as well as read other employee’s EOS emails promptly upon arriving for shift.
• Assist as needed with buses and group packets.
• Be aware and knowledgeable about arriving and upcoming buses and groups.
• Assist in training new night audit staff members.
• Complete and transmit daily reservation and guest service reports.
• Monitor overbookings & manage room bookings.
• Pre-block and enter rooming list.
• Enter Wholesaler reservations & handle billing for Direct Bills.
• Assist with monitoring extranet & rates.
• Reconcile cash daily.
• Assist shift with balancing out procedures.
• Handle VIP bookings from start to finish.
• Fulfill amenities and guest requests.
• Handle guest problems in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Meet with supervisor/manager to review assignments, anticipate business levels, changes and other information pertinent to the job performance.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all services related to the Company.
• Maintain professional conduct and excellence in the execution of all tasks.
• Abide by all Company Policies as outlined in Company Employee Handbook and Standards of Conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested and deemed necessary by management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience as a front desk agent strongly required.
• Previous night audit experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate preferred.
• Computer literate; comprehensive knowledge of operating systems, office suites, and spreadsheets required.
• Opera PMS system knowledge preferred.
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work cohesively with all levels of management, all departments and co-workers as part of a team.
• Must have ability to listen to and communicate information to guests and coworkers in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Ability to be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment.
• Ability to stand and work for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
• Flexibility in schedule.


Front Desk Manager (Full-Time)

The Front Desk Manager supports the General Manager in managing all aspects of the Rooms Department including Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Laundry in order to achieve the guest satisfaction, operating and financial goals of the owner.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure guest satisfaction through managing efforts of all Rooms departments, as
well as through direct communication with guests to manage experience and outcome.
• Develop and implement strategies that exceed the needs and expectation of guests.
• Oversee the quality process to ensure customer satisfaction by consistent delivery of both product and service quality.
• Tour and visually inspect hotel property daily. Monitor property condition, cleanliness, cost control, and quality or product and service throughout.
• Remain highly visible and available for guests and staff members.
• Supervise all Rooms Department Managers and Supervisors on daily, weekly, monthly and annual action plans related to property strategic plan. Communicate, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to staff. Help realize and contribute to Rooms Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
• Develop and execute Rooms division budget and revenue forecasts. Develop and implement controls for expense management. Utilize labor management tools to schedule and control labor costs.
• Submit weekly and monthly reports as requested by General Manager.
• Manage the payroll for the Rooms departments. Ensure accuracy of time and other employee requests as related to payroll. Manage employee time off requests.
• Manage scheduling for Rooms departments.
• Regular attendance of leadership morning meetings and weekly meetings.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels to match business needs and demands.
• Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
• Handle all disciplinary matters in accordance with policy and consistently with all associates.
• Develop and implement Rooms SOPs for property.
• Effectively manage third-party relationships, contracts, and pricing.
• Works with Sales department to manage group and bus bookings and process.
• Work with Marketing department to ensure accurate website and direct marketing e-blast information.
• May fill in for various roles within the Rooms Department as demands of the business requires.
• Manage own working hours in line with demands of business.
• As a leader in the Rooms department, the Front Desk Manager has an affirmative duty to lead by example, and act in the best interest of the Company. This duty extends to conduct away from the property.
• The Front Desk Manager shall, through professional example, develop and promote the growth of all staff by educating, empowering, and sharing passion for excellence.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of hotel management experience required.
• 5+ years of hotel front desk experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent vocation training certificate required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Computer literate; comprehensive knowledge of operating systems, office suites,
and spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law


Front Desk Agent (Full-Time | $14-$16/hr)
