Hotel Night Auditior

Responsibilities

  • Completes the Night Audit Process in the PMS System.
  • Process reports and assist management with reporting processes.
  • Assists with questions and checks guest in.
  • Answers incoming calls, makes new reservations, changes and cancels reservations.
  • Assist with guest needs, directing housekeeping and maintenance to guest request.
  • Concierges service to guest.
  • Checks guest out and assisting with billing.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED
  • Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office programs a plus
  • Minimum of six months experience in public or guest relations service preferred
  • Weekend availability required
  • This is an Overnight Shift

 

Front Desk Agent | Night Shift:

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for assisting guests with check-in and check-out, answering all phone calls received, and handling all special requests for services or information from our guests. Computer use is frequent and cash handling abilities are required. In addition to the front desk, this position is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and integrity of the lobby area.  A top candidate for this role enjoys interacting with a high volume of guests, has a great attention to detail with data input and communication, and takes pride in being an excellent representative of our organization to the Mammoth community and visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and provide a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
  • Create guest reservations
  • Process guest check-ins
  • Collect and verify guest reservation and personal information
  • Accurately and consistently share hotel, restaurant, and amenity information
  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Accommodate guest requests whenever possible
  • Keep front desk and lobby area clean and tidy

Education & Experience:

  • Experience in customer service required
  • Strong computer skills required
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
  • Hotel front desk experience preferred

 

Housekeeping & Laundry:

The housekeeping staff is responsible for the daily inspection and cleaning of assigned rooms in the hotel. The laundry attendant is responsible for the daily washing of all linen for the resort. Both positions are required to be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and be able to spend long periods of time on your feet.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain up to 40 rooms to high quality standards.
  • Promote positive guest relations and promptly attend to our guest needs, while verbally communicating.
  • Ensure all departmental and safety procedures are followed by all employees.
  • Report all maintenance problems in rooms and assigned areas.
  • Check for and bring down all Lost and Found to the Front Desk on a daily basis.
  • Help maintain cleanliness of guest areas, i.e. pick up dishes, trash as needed.

Experience:

  • Housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift.
  • Must be agile; lots of repetitive bending, reaching, stooping and kneeling.

 

Lead Maintenance Worker:

 The Lead Maintenance Worker differs from the Maintenance worker position in the level of responsibility and is a working level lead. This position may provide direction, establish priorities, assign tasks, coordinate work projects and the work of other Maintenance personnel. Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of work in the general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, and equipment.

  • Must have four or more years of progressive and practical experience in one or more of the following skilled trades; Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Masonry, etc.
  • Understanding of General Maintenance, Repair of Buildings, Facilities, Equipment, and Grounds required
  • A High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate required
  • General proficiency with Microsoft Suite i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. required
  • California Driver’s License and ability to be insured for using company equipment and vehicles is required


Prep Cook:

Primary responsibility is to perform a variety of food preparation duties, such as preparing cold foods, vegetables, and shellfish, slicing meat and brewing coffee or tea.  Work with Line Cook, maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.

  • Maintain complete knowledge of all services related to the Company.
  • Maintain confidentiality of any and all proprietary information as required by the Company.
  • Inspect, clean, disinfect and sanitize food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
  • Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
  • Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
  • Minimize waste and maintain controls to attain forecasted food cost.
  • Transport empty, dirty pots and pans to the pot wash station.
  • Meet with the Lead Cook to review assignments, anticipate business levels, changes and other information pertinent to the job performance.
  • Prepare and organize all items needed from different areas to ensure all items are in place and ready for service.
  • Mix ingredients for green salads, molded fruit salads, vegetable salads, and pasta salads.
  • Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables to prepare them for consumption.
  • Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment.
  • Inform chef of any excess items that could be used in daily specials or elsewhere.
  • Review status of work and follow up actions required with the Lead Cook prior to leaving.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Line Cook:

Primary responsibility is to plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in the kitchen department in accordance with standards and plating guide specifications. 

  • Maintain complete knowledge of all services related to the Company.
  • Maintain confidentiality of any and all proprietary information as required by the Company.
  • Inspect, clean, disinfect and sanitize food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
  • Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
  • Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
  • Minimize waste and maintain controls to attain forecasted food cost.
  • Transport empty, dirty pots and pans to the pot wash station.
  • Meet with supervisor to review assignments, anticipate business levels, changes and other information pertinent to the job performance.
  • Organize all of the various prep items needed from different areas to ensure all items are in place and ready for service.
  • Cook with total adherence to established recipes and techniques as directed by the Lead Cook, Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and/or Executive Chef.
  • Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils.
  • Ensure adherence to established recipes and techniques by requesting quality checks, tastings, and observational comments from supervisors.  Critiques shall be constructive and must be followed.
  • Inform chef of any excess items that could be used in daily specials or elsewhere.
  • Participate in any and all projects as directed. These projects may include but will not be limited to cleaning, organizing, receiving of goods, stocking of supplies, and any culinary tasks as directed.
  • Review status of work and follow up actions required with supervisor prior to leaving.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
