Guests of the Sierra Nevada Resort, located in the heart of downtown Mammoth Lakes, can enjoy many dog-friendly opportunities in the area, including the many hiking trails and lakes to explore. With long sunny days and cooler mountain air, the weather is conducive to action-packed days outdoors. The Sierra Nevada Resort is conveniently located just a few miles from such popular attractions as Devils Postpile National Monument, Convict, Crowley and Mono Lakes and Yosemite National Park.

The lodge welcomes dogs up to 100 pounds for an additional cleaning fee of $25 per dog, per day, with a two-dog maximum per room. The lobby of the Sierra Nevada Resort includes Duke’s Bar, named after John Wayne, who frequented the location back in the '60s with his hunting and fishing buddies. Summer rates at Sierra Nevada Resort & Spa start at $99 for lodge rooms midweek, $149 weekends. Deluxe room are from $125 midweek, $179 weekends (based on availability; taxes and fees not included). Special rates are also available for IKON pass holders and local events.
